The Energy Policy Act of 2005 amends the Uniform TimeAct of 1966 by changing the start and end dates of daylight saving time starting in 2007.
Clocks will be set ahead one hour on the second Sunday of March (March 11) instead of the first Sunday of April.
Clocks will be set back one hour on the first Sunday in November ( November 4), instead of the last Sunday of October. Therefore, Daylight Savings Time is extended by 4 weeks starting this year.
Apple just provided a software update to accommodate this change. Not sure what Microsoft is doing about it.
