Today we are going to see if we can find out what sex the baby is. Will be be painting the walls of the room blue or pink?
That is a question that I do not ask myself very often. Of late, I am not concerned with what color the room will be but rather will I be a good dad? Will I know the answers to all my kid's questions? Will I be able to distinguish and teach my kid right from wrong? Will I know how to react when he/she comes running inside with a sliver the size of a toothpick shoved under their index finger skin?
I think the answer is right here, courtesy of by business partner/coworker, Tim Walmer. Thanks buddy.

Ooooh, Ooooh, I know what to do with slivers. The darn kids won't let you without ten feet if you approach with scissors, but there's this stuff called "black salve" or Ichthammol Ointment. Put some on the splinter, cover with a bandaid, and it will be drawn out harmlessly.
As for the rest.....I truly think the best thing you can give your kid(s) is a loving, happy home. Smile, laugh, show your love for the Mrs. That alone will put you miles ahead of many families. Good luck.
You are already a great Dad.
And Baby Gannon is already the luckiest kid.
