After a cool guys weekend up in the mountains - fishing + horseshoeing, I came back to squelching 100 degree heat in the city. To beat the heat, Christy suggested we go see the movie Knocked Up with Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl. Hilarious! You have to see it. You would think with a title like this, and with the mix of a pot-smoking deadbeat and a hot tv producer the makings would be a mash, but this is a "must-have-on-DVD-the-first-day-it-comes-out" movie. The cast is wonderful, the lines are witty and gut-wrenching, and the laughs are endless. Judd Apatow has done it again. In case you didn't know, Judd Apatow also did Freaks and Geeks tv show and 2005's 40-Year Old Virgin.

Looks very funny and well done! I will definitely rent immediately! I don't think I could convince Mark to go to the theatre to see it. We are going to see Transformers though. yaaaay.
We saw this! I thought of you and Christy with the baby on the way, I hope you didn't go through quite so many OB/GYN's to find the right one. I actually cried a lot watching it, I thought it was so sweet. Then we came home and watched 40 yr-old Virgin when the kids went to sleep. I keep wanting to use the swear words from the waxing scene every time Nathan annoys me.
Joy, has Mark seen 40 yr-old Virgin? Rent that, and then maybe you can talk him into Knocked Up.
